God is light. Believers in Jesus worship a God who is completely pure. We on the other hand are not so pure. We rebel against God in big and small ways. In this passage we find God’s kindness for imperfect believers. Our mess meet’s God mercy. We find out how we can "walk in the light as He is in the light” even though we still sin.
